Comfort Area Farmers Market Every Saturday in August  8am to Noon in the Comfort Park providing fresh home grown vegetables, plants, breads and much much more!   This weekend we will have John and Denise McCurdy (The Fiddlechick and Friends) playing for our enjoyment in the Gazebo. At the Market this week you will find beautifully crafted aprons,totes, creams,soaps and salves. As always wonderful breads and baked goods, preserves, local honey and gift baskets, farm fresh eggs and late winter crops (leeks, greens, lettuce, radishes...). Our spring and summer crops are coming along, we are a couple of weeks behind normal due to the chilly weather! Don't give up hope!!! We have new vendors and are always welcoming more. If you have an idea or suggestion give us a call. We have some yard art for sale as well as some beautiful mulch for your own planting beds. Greater Area Comfort Chamber of Commerce is hosting "Saturday in the Park"
Last Saturday of Summer Celebration.  Lots of music, dancing, vendors, spirits and a huge raffle with tons of prizes.  Part of proceeds to go to our local food bank sponsored through Stagecoach Ministries.  Everyone is invited to join us at the park for a full day of fun and folic.
 We will be raffling several great prizes including:
*50" Flat Screen HD New TV
*Wine Tour for 2 -Texas Style by Texas Wine Tours - Take a tour of the hill country wines in a limo coach!  A $180.00 value!
*Two Night Stay at A Lazys Place Guesthouse!
*One night stay at your choice of rooms at A Stay in Comfort Guesthouse
*Two Framed Art Prints by local photography artist Jennifer Bursaw

Texas Hill Country Artists display & sell their works in Downtown Historic District & along Hwy 27 at participating shops. For artist participation check Comfort Chamber of Commerce home page: Events Applications.

Annual Halloween Folk Art Event at The Heart Cottage. Meet Greg Guedel, talented artist/wood carver from Indiana. Not only will Greg be signing your Bethany Lowe Designs selections, but he will also be bringing a large selection of original Halloween carvings with him!

Comfort is filled with clever autumn scarecrow creations until November 2. Scarecrows mimic nursery rhymes, characters of all types. Winners have signs posted in front of their businesses or in yards of residences.

Comfort Village Fall Antique Show
presented by Texas Presentations. In Comfort Park. Saturday 10 am-5 pm. Sunday 10 am-4 pm. "Puts country back into country shows." Early Country, Gardening, Architectural, Southwestern & Indian, American Oak, Blue Willow, Stoneware, Baskets, Textiles...more. Admission $5, children 12 & under free. Rain or Shine...booths under cover.

Girls Night Out -
Fun evening of shopping for the ladies! Participating shops are decked out in holiday finery and brimming with treasures to be discovered by the discriminating shopper. Door prizes, music & food.

Christmas In Comfort
- Famous lighted night parade at 7 pm. Festivities begin at 10 am with over 150 arts & crafts booths, food, day-long entertainment. Visit from Santa for photos. Petting Zoo. Show & Sale by Comfort Porcelain Club.
