2010 ANNUAL CITIZENS AWARD
PRESENTED BY
THE GREATER COMFORT AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Every year your Chamber will recognize and award our special
community members for their contributions to our community with an
awards banquet.
Your participation is requested to select recipients of the Greater
Comfort Area Chamber of Commerce Commerce’s annual citizen awards.
This honor is given to Comfort, Center Point, Sisterdale, Warring
and Welfare residents
as an acknowledgement of their accomplishments and/or contributions
to the community. The
Our 2010 Awards will be awarded at the Greater Comfort Chamber
banquet in the fall of this year.
A committee of chamber members will consider the following criteria
for each award. Please review and make your suggestions. The
recipient need not be a chamber member.
The Golden Service Award
Criteria considered:
Recipient must be 65 years or older, has provided continuous support
and dedication to the community for many years and provided selfless
dedication and extraordinary service to the community.

The Special Contribution Award
Criteria considered:
Recipient can be a person, club and/or organization and has
contributed to the community in a superior, unusual or exceptional
manner.

The Outstanding Community Citizen Award
Criteria considered:
Recipient has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the
community through leadership and volunteer services, and provides
selfless vision work and commitment to the community.

The Outstanding Educator Award
Criteria considered:
Recipient must be an educator within the community and has
demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the community through
leadership and educational services, and provides selfless vision
work and commitment to the education of our youth.

Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, December 1st, 2010.
